We’re all about mixed materials here at TDL.
When it comes to choosing a light fixture, it would be natural that you’ll have the metal finish to match one of your existing metals. For example: if you’ve got black doorknobs and brass curtain rods, you’d likely choose a brass light fixture to balance it out. Something, though, the formula for mixing metals is not so obvious or the finish you select doesn’t seem to match any of the others with the same name (we’re looking you, brass!) and that’s when you’ll want to choose light fixtures without metal finishes.
