MLK Weekend Sale Guide-ish
I know, I know, we literally just got away from the holidays and the over expenditure on some of our ends, so why am I telling you to shop more?
Well, I’m not. Sort of.
In the words of the greatest neighbor from growing up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, “a sale isn’t a sale unless you needed it.”
It’s a truth and I believe this seasonal sale will be for that purpose: for the things you need.
Fun Fact: The most popular purchase during these early annual sales are mattresses. No joke.
This preview is less about product and more about need. We want you to start your year off right by creating your best home. While we think we know the best way to get that done - helllo, interior designer - we also want to offer you a way to prep that space for yourself.

Use this to be your guide through this upcoming sales weekend. You can print it out directly or download it straight to your phone to walk around with. Now, let’s get to figuring out what we need.
Walk Around Your Home!
Go space by space and write down every single thing you’re hoping to change up this year.
No inhibitions. Pretend like money is no object and just make a list.
Highlighter time!
Grab out your highlighters and get to work. I’m recommending you highlight either (2) pieces per room that are on top of your list OR you’re overall top 10, no matter the space and let those be your focus this year.
Searchy Search
Take 30 minutes and start adding some of the pieces to your search bar. Get an idea of what’s out there, what the average prices are, etc. Fill out your guide, etc.
We recommend not going to far over 30min - 1 hour, because otherwise it can become an overwhelming vortex.
Hit the Ground Running
On the days leading up to MLK Day (or other holidays that offer sales) start shopping your list.
See if prices are lowering for the pieces you’re dreaming of.
Keep that list with you to keep you on target. It helps! Don’t let the store tell YOU what YOU need.
This might all sound like a lot to you, but why not get started on creating your best home in 2025 this month. Maybe your progress is just seeing what you really want or seeing the budget you need to set up for yourself, etc.
